Antoine Saout
Poker has always been considered as the game of experts. However, beginners can also make a good achievement in the world of poker. The titans are the best ones, who can direct themselves to make a difference.
Antoine Saout is one of the few players in poker game, who has astonished the world with his performances and contributions.
Ever since his arrival in the circuit, Antoine Saout has been able to make an impact
in the circuit with breathtaking performances including a 3rd place finish in the 2009 40th Annual WSOP Event. Antoine Saout was born in 1984, in Morlaix, France. Presently, he resides in San Martin des Champs in France.
He has been playing the online versions of the game since 1992. Even though he did win a few tournaments in the early stages of his career, but his game really took off in 2008 and 2009. In 2008, he had won the no limit Hold’em at the Spanish poker tour at Marbella. He finished sixth in the tournament and in his own style made it clear that a new challenge was about to hit all of them.
After winning at the Marbella, he made cash finishes at other no limit Hold’em games at different Spanish venues under the banner of de Castellon. However, his real success came in July 2009, when he entered the 40th WSOP event (USD 10,000 buy-ins). Here, he finished third taking everyone by surprise and took home a massive cash prize of USD 3,479,670. Yes, that's over 3 MILLION dollars with the likes of Laurens De Smet, Johnny Chan, Kathy Liebert and Lex Veldhuis in the tournament, that's a pretty solid result!
However, following that win, things haven’t been consistent for Saout. He reached the final of the 2009 Partouche Poker Tour in August and gave a stunning performance, but ended at a lowly 30th position. Antoine has made cash finishes in WSOP Europe (September 2009) and WPT Marrakech (October 2009) with a seventh place performance (£114,228 of prize money) in the former event.
It is believed that with tournament winnings of around USD 4 million, Antoine Saout is one of the top competitors in the game. With age in his side, he is going to learn more and will definitely make an impact in different competitions that are to come.
